Capuchinos

Capuchinos are a creamy dessert made with sweet potato and coconut, with a smooth and exquisite texture. Prepare it by blending cooked sweet potato with coconut milk, lemon zest, and sugar. Cook over low heat until thickened and enjoy this delicacy.
Capuchino is one of the typical Cuban desserts.
It is a type of sponge cake made with egg yolk. It is dark yellow, very soft, and soaked in syrup.
The sweet secret
The secret to preparing it is to make a fairly thick syrup with a hint of anise or vanilla, which gives it a special character.
Cubans prepare this dessert in many different ways, and depending on the final shape, its name also varies.
It should have large heads, if they are round cone-shaped. If you order a capuchino in Cuba, you definitely won't be served the specialty coffee we are accustomed to in our countries.
To make this Cuban capuchino recipe, you need special molds to maintain its characteristic cone shape, but if you don't have them, you can also make it in muffin molds.
The origin of this cake is in the convent of the Capuchin nuns of the Clarisas, as its founder was St. Clare. The main component of the Clarisas' delicacies is the egg yolk; traditionally, visitors bring a dozen eggs to the order to ensure the right weather at the wedding, to avoid misfortune on a rainy day, which, besides distorting the act, brings bad luck to the spouses.
