Ingredients

1 cup of Harina de castilla

½ teaspoon of Sal

1 teaspoon of Aceite

1 cup of Agua

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, place the water (or half milk), oil or butter and salt, and bring to a boil.

Step 2 : Once boiling, add the flour and quickly and constantly stir with a wooden spoon until a hard dough forms that comes off the pot.

Step 3 : Remove the pot from the heat and let the dough cool.

Step 4 : Subsequently, place the dough in a churrera or churro maker and fry in hot oil, shaping spirals and cutting them with scissors.

Step 5 : To finish, you can sprinkle the churros with sugar, and enjoy them accompanied by honey or a sauce of your choice.
