Meat Croquettes
Ingredients
2 cups of Cooked and ground beef
1 Medium onion
1 Red bell pepper
1 liter of Chicken or beef broth
100 grams of Wheat flour
100 milliliters of Oil
1 pinch of Salt
Grated nutmeg
2 Eggs
1 cup of Breadcrumbs
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : The previously cooked meat is ground and seasoned with salt and pepper.
Step 2 : Then it is set aside.
Step 3 : Garlic, onion, and bell pepper are chopped and ground until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
Step 4 : In a skillet, sauté the previous mixture and when it is ready, add the flour and mix well.
Step 5 : Add the chicken broth and nutmeg, and cook until obtaining the consistency of bechamel sauce.
Step 6 : Next, add the meat to the sauce, mixing everything over low heat until achieving a compact dough that easily separates from the bottom.
Step 7 : Once ready, remove the dough from the heat and let it cool.
Step 8 : When cold, shape the croquettes, first greasing the hands with a little oil.
Step 9 : Roll the croquettes in egg and then in breadcrumbs, and fry in plenty of hot oil.
Step 10 : Once golden brown, they are ready to enjoy.
