Ingredients

4 Large green plantains

Lard

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : Peel the plantains and cut them into slices at least three centimeters thick.

Step 2 : Place them in a deep skillet with lard and heat until they begin to lightly brown.

Step 3 : Once ready, remove them from the skillet and place them on paper towels to cool.

Step 4 : Then, mash them with a wooden spatula and return them to the hot lard to brown to your liking, either crispy or softer.

Step 5 : When serving, sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
