Ingredients

4 Large potatoes

2 tablespoons of Butter

2 Eggs

1 tablespoon of Salt

1 tablespoon of Yellow cheese

¼ teaspoon of Nutmeg

½ cup of All-purpose flour

1 cup of Breadcrumbs

Frying oil

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, first peel the potatoes and cut them into four pieces.

Step 2 : Then, place the potatoes in a pot with water and salt, covering them to boil for about 20 minutes.

Step 3 : Once ready, drain and mash the potatoes to make a puree.

Step 4 : To this puree, add the butter, egg, salt, grated yellow cheese, and nutmeg, mixing everything perfectly.

Step 5 : Next, let the mixture cool and divide it into portions, forming croquettes with each one on a light layer of flour.

Step 6 : Then, dip the croquettes in beaten egg and coat with breadcrumbs before frying them in hot oil until golden brown.
