Pumpkin with Bacon and Oregano

Ingredients

1 pound of Diced pumpkin

100 grams of Diced bacon

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Oregano

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The pumpkin should be peeled and cut into medium-sized pieces, then placed in a pot covered with water with salt to taste.

Step 2 : Bring the mixture to a boil until the pumpkin is tender, approximately 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.

Step 3 : In a skillet, brown the bacon until crispy.

Step 4 : Sprinkle with pepper and oregano to taste.

Step 5 : Once ready, pour the bacon over the reserved pumpkin and serve hot.
