Tender Corn Flan
Ingredients
12 Tender corn cobs
1 cup of Vegetable broth
3 Eggs
1 teaspoon of Butter
½ teaspoon of Sugar
2 tablespoons of Salt
3 tablespoons of Ketchup
Preparation
Step 1 : To begin, grate the corn and then add the vegetable broth, processing it through a fine strainer.
Step 2 : Next, cook the mixture over low heat for 20 minutes.
Step 3 : Once that time has elapsed, remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool.
Step 4 : Then, incorporate the lightly beaten egg yolks, butter, sugar, and salt into the cooled mixture.
Step 5 : Cook again over low heat for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 6 : Subsequently, let the mixture cool before adding the beaten egg whites to stiff peaks, mixing evenly.
Step 7 : Pour the preparation into a previously greased mold and cook in a bain-marie for 15 minutes.
Step 8 : When serving, add ketchup on top.
