Ingredients

4 Large green plantains
Pork lard
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : Peel the plantains and cut them into slices at least three centimeters thick.
Step 2 : Place them in a deep skillet with pork fat and heat until they start to turn lightly golden.
Step 3 : Once ready, remove them from the skillet and place on paper towels to cool.
Step 4 : Then, flatten them with a wooden spatula and re-fry in hot fat until crispy or to your taste, either crunchy or softer.
Step 5 : When serving, sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
