Ingredients

1 Baguette

4 Slices of roasted pork

3 Slices of cooked ham

3 Slices of Swiss cheese

Pickles in vinegar

Mustard

Butter

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, heat a knob of butter until melted and hot.

Step 2 : Add the roasted pork and brown it on both sides.

Step 3 : Then set aside.

Step 4 : If homemade roasted pork isn't available, you can substitute with roasted ham found at any supermarket.

Step 5 : Cut the baguette in half and spread a generous layer of mustard on one side.

Step 6 : Place the browned roasted pork slices on the skillet over the mustard, followed by the cooked ham, pickles in vinegar, and Swiss cheese slices.

Step 7 : Place the top half of the bread and brush the outside with butter using a pastry brush.

Step 8 : Place the sandwich in a sandwich press and toast until golden.

Step 9 : If you don't have a sandwich press, you can use a skillet.

Step 10 : Hold the sandwich down with a slotted spoon at all times so that it stays compressed and the cheese melts.
