Ingredients

1 liter of Milk

2 tablespoons of Cocoa powder

4 Egg yolks

6 tablespoons of Sugar

2 tablespoons of Cornstarch

1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, start by heating 3/4 liter of milk in a saucepan over medium heat, reserving a glass of milk aside.

Step 2 : Dissolve 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in the glass with the remaining milk.

Step 3 : In another container, whisk the egg yolks with the vanilla and sugar.

Step 4 : Then, add the cornstarch milk to the yolk mixture and mix well.

Step 5 : Before the milk in the saucepan reaches the boiling point, add the cocoa powder and mix carefully.

Step 6 : Next, incorporate the yolk mixture into the saucepan and cook everything until the mixture thickens, making sure to constantly stir the edges to prevent sticking.

Step 7 : Once the mixture has thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and distribute the content into desired containers.

Step 8 : Allow to cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
