Dulce de Fruta Bomba Pintona
Ingredients
2 pounds of Fruta bomba pintona
1 Cáscara de limón
1 Rama de canela
1 pound of Azúcar
2 cups of Agua
Preparation
Step 1 : Wash the fruta bomba well, peel it, and cut it into medium-sized cubes.
Step 2 : Place it in the saucepan along with the other ingredients.
Step 3 : Cook over low heat and covered for 20 minutes.
Step 4 : Check the syrup consistency according to personal taste.
Step 5 : If a thicker consistency is desired, cook uncovered over low heat.
Step 6 : Before serving, remove the cinnamon stick and lemon peel.
Step 7 : Serve with Cuban white cheese or cream cheese.
