Orange Custard
Ingredients
6 Oranges
Orange pulp
1 cup of Sugar
6 tablespoons of Cornstarch
1 teaspoon of Vanilla
4 cups of Milk
Caramel sugar
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dessert, start by cutting the oranges in half and removing the pulp, then reserve the peel.
Step 2 : Clean the orange peels and cut them into small pieces, set aside to later integrate them into the custard.
Step 3 : In a separate container, dissolve the custard (or cornstarch) in two cups of milk and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
Step 4 : Once it starts boiling, add the remaining milk and the cup of sugar, cooking over medium heat until reaching the desired consistency.
Step 5 : Remove the custard from the heat, add the cut peels, and mix well to integrate them.
Step 6 : Then, fill the orange peels with the prepared custard and cover with a little caramel.
