A hot chocolate drink perfect for winter nights, easy to prepare and delicious to enjoy anytime.
A hot chocolate drink is the perfect choice to enjoy during cold winter nights.
To prepare it, you only need good quality dark chocolate, milk (it can be whole milk, or a plant-based alternative if you prefer), and sugar to taste.
Before you begin, we recommend as an alternative the delicious recipe from Chicha de jora on a friendly site.
Chocolate a la taza
Ingredients
250 milliliters of Whole milk
50 milliliters of Fresh water
2 tablespoons of Cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of Cornstarch
Sugar
Preparation
Step 1 : In a metal pitcher, heat the milk over medium heat.
Step 2 : Before it boils, add the cocoa powder and sugar, making sure to dissolve them completely.
Step 3 : Then, dissolve the cornstarch in fresh water and add it to the chocolate milk mixture, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Step 4 : It is recommended to keep the heat at a medium-low temperature and continue stirring to avoid lumps.
Step 5 : Once the desired consistency is achieved, it is time to serve the hot chocolate.
Step 6 : It can be accompanied by cookies, churros, or other preferred complements.
Step 7 : For a special touch, it can be decorated with chocolate sprinkles or grated dark chocolate.
