Cortadito Coffee
Ingredients
1 cup of Filtered water
3 tablespoons of Cuban coffee
4 teaspoons of Sugar
2 cups of Evaporated milk, heated on the stove
Preparation
Step 1 : In a coffee maker, add water to the bottom.
Step 2 : Then, place the coffee in a filter and tap it gently with the back of a spoon before firmly closing the top.
Step 3 : On medium heat, prepare the coffee on the stove, which will take about 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 4 : Place the 4 tablespoons of sugar at the bottom of the milk jug.
Step 5 : When the first 1 to 2 oz of coffee is ready, remove the coffee maker from the heat and pour the coffee into the milk jug.
Step 6 : Place the jug on the stove to finish preparing the rest of the coffee, meanwhile mix the sugar with the coffee to form a paste.
Step 7 : Once the coffee is ready, pour it into the jug and mix until frothy.
Step 8 : Serve in cups and add warm evaporated milk until you have half coffee and half milk.
