Arroz con maíz
Ingredients
2 pounds of Rice
1 ½ cup of Whole corn
1 Small onion
3 Garlic cloves
½ Chili pepper
6 cups of Water
1 teaspoon of Salt
1 teaspoon of Vinegar
¼ teaspoon of Cumin
14 teaspoons of Pepper
3 tablespoons of Oil
½ cup of Tomato puree
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, add two tablespoons of oil, water, spices, tomato, and chicken bouillon cubes.
Step 2 : Bring to a boil over high heat.
Step 3 : Then add the rice and stir well with a fork.
Step 4 : Once it starts boiling, reduce heat intensity and let it cook covered over medium heat until the rice softens.
Step 5 : Subsequently, add the previously cooked corn, cover and let it cook for a few more minutes.
Step 6 : Finally, add a finely crushed garlic clove and stir everything.
