Ingredients

2 pounds of Rice

4 Chicken pieces

4 Garlic cloves

1 Onion

2 Peppers

1 Bay leaf

2 tablespoons of Tomato puree

½ cup of Dry white wine or beer

3 Bell peppers

4 tablespoons of Fat

1 teaspoon of Salt

6 cups of Water

1 pinch of Pepper

Petit pois

1 teaspoon of Bijol or saffron

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, it is recommended to marinate the chicken two or three hours in advance, sprinkle with salt and rub with crushed garlic.

Step 2 : In a frying pan, lightly sauté the chopped onion and the rest of the garlic.

Step 3 : Then, add the tomato puree, chopped pepper, and bay leaf to the sauté.

Step 4 : Next, incorporate the chicken pieces browned on both sides into the sauté.

Step 5 : Add the raw and washed rice, as well as the wine or beer and the petit pois with some of the bell peppers.

Step 6 : Then, pour in the water to which bijol or saffron has been added.

Step 7 : Cover the preparation and let it boil over high heat until it is almost dry.

Step 8 : Once ready, turn off the heat and let it steam well covered until completely dry.

Step 9 : Finally, serve garnished with the remaining bell peppers.
