Ingredients

1 kilogram of Squid

3 tablespoons of Oil

6 Garlic cloves

1 Onion

½ cup of Chopped chili

1 cup of Red wine

1 tablespoon of Tomato puree

1 tablespoon of Salt

1 pinch of Ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The squids must be cleaned and the ink sacs reserved.

Step 2 : Then, cut them into pieces, including the tentacles.

Step 3 : Sauté them lightly in hot oil and gradually add the garlic, onion, chili, and parsley.

Step 4 : Incorporate the tomato, wine, salt, and pepper.

Step 5 : Crush the ink sacs in a mortar, mix with a bit of the sauce, and add to the preparation.

Step 6 : Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.

Step 7 : To thicken the sauce, add toasted and grated bread if desired.

Step 8 : When serving, sprinkle 2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley and crushed garlic or chopped raw onion, according to taste.
