Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the glazed ham, it is necessary to thaw it from the night before.

Step 2 : In a small saucepan, place the sugar, cinnamon, and water, whisking the mixture over low heat until a homogeneous and thick consistency forms.

Step 3 : Subsequently, place the ham in a shallow tray and insert the cloves in different parts.

Step 4 : Then, spread the ham with the sugar mixture.

Step 5 : To finish the decoration, add the pineapples and cherries, securing them with toothpicks and pouring the pineapple syrup over the ham.

Step 6 : It is important to preheat the oven to 200°C.

Step 7 : To prevent the ham from drying out during cooking, a baking bag with small holes made with a fork can be used.

Step 8 : If you do not have baking bags, you can cover the ham with aluminum foil and uncover it a few minutes before the end of cooking to brown.

Step 9 : The ham should be baked for approximately one hour, or until the surface looks golden and appetizing.
