2 tablespoons of Lard

500 grams of Ground pork meat

2 Garlic cloves

½ Onion

½ Large chili

1 cup of Tomato sauce

2 tablespoons of Dry wine

1 teaspoon of Salt

¼ teaspoon of Oregano

¼ teaspoon of Ground pepper

1 Bay leaf

500 grams of Macaroni

4 cups of Boiling water

1 tablespoon of Salt

250 grams of Cheese

Preparation

Step 1 : To start, it is recommended to heat the lard in a skillet and sauté the crushed garlic cloves, diced onion, and chili.

Step 2 : Once they are golden brown, add the meat and cook until slightly cooked.

Step 3 : Then, it's time to add the dry wine, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and bay leaf.

Step 4 : Let it cook over low heat and covered for 15 minutes, so the flavors blend properly.

Step 5 : Meanwhile, in another pot with boiling salted water, cook the macaroni until al dente.

Step 6 : After the cooking time of the meat, remove the bay leaf and set aside.

Step 7 : To assemble the dish, it is recommended to grease a mold with butter.

Step 8 : Place a layer of macaroni on the bottom, then a layer of the prepared meat, and a layer of grated cheese.

Step 9 : Repeat this process, adding another layer of macaroni, meat, and grated cheese.

Step 10 : Finally, bake the dish at 350°F for about 25 minutes, or until the cheese melts and a golden layer forms on the surface.

Step 11 : Once ready, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
