Ingredients

1 kilogram of Pork belly

4 tablespoons of Salt

½ teaspoon of Baking powder

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the pork belly, start by drying the piece and scoring the crackling sections.

Step 2 : Next, make fine cuts in the skin without reaching the meat, cover with salt, and let it rest.

Step 3 : After some time, scrape off the salt and season the meat, adding baking powder if desired, and let it rest again.

Step 4 : Then, preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the meat with the skin side up.

Step 5 : After a period, increase the oven temperature to 450°F and bake for another 25 minutes until crispy cracklings are achieved.
