Ingredients

1 pound of Beans

1 Onion

2 Garlic cloves

1 Chili peppers

Dried spices

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare the recipe, select any variety of beans, whether red, white, or others.

Step 2 : Next, soak them for six to eight hours.

Step 3 : Once soaked, cook them in salted water until tender.

Step 4 : Then, drain and blend them with onion, scallions, garlic, chili peppers, and dried herbs or spices to taste.

Step 5 : Add salt to the resulting paste and sauté in hot oil for a few minutes.

Step 6 : Refried beans can be eaten directly or used to fill chili peppers, tomatoes, or other vegetables.

Step 7 : In case there are leftover beans from a meal, strain them and reduce them to puree.

Step 8 : Then, in a skillet with a tablespoon of oil, cook the puree, stirring constantly until it forms a thick paste.
