Ingredients

½ kilogram of Clams

4 tablespoons of Oil

1 Onion

1 Green bell pepper

2 Garlic cloves

½ cup of Chopped parsley

½ cup of Tomato puree

1 tablespoon of Salt

2 cups of Fish broth

1 cup of White wine

1 ½ cup of Rice

1 Bay leaf

teaspoon of Cumin

teaspoon of Oregano

Preparation

Step 1 : It is recommended to rinse the clams with hot water and wash them thoroughly to remove any trace of sand.

Step 2 : Then, heat the oil and sauté the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and parsley in a pan.

Step 3 : Next, add the tomato puree, salt, and clams, being careful not to stir too much to avoid breaking the shells.

Step 4 : Then, add the broth and wine to the preparation.

Step 5 : Once it starts boiling, add the rice and spices.

Step 6 : It is recommended to cook covered over high heat until the rice starts to open, then reduce the heat and continue cooking over low heat until the rice is tender.

Step 7 : If you prefer to do without the shells, you can remove the clean clams and use the shells to prepare a broth that can be added to the rice to give it more flavor.
