Rice with pork meat
Ingredients
600 grams of Pork meat
350 grams of Rice
120 grams of Creole sofrito
650 milliliters of White broth
40 milliliters of Sherry wine
30 milliliters of Vegetable oil
40 grams of Bell peppers
40 grams of Peas
2 Hard-boiled eggs
1 pinch of Chopped parsley
1 Bay leaf
1 pinch of Cumin
1 pinch of Vegetable coloring
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Ground pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Pork meat is chopped into pieces of about 4 cm and fried in oil until tender and golden.
Step 2 : Then remove the meat from the fat and sauté the rice, adding the sofrito and toasted and crushed spices.
Step 3 : Leave the meat and broth until it starts boiling, adding the bijol and salt, and place it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200 ºC.
Step 4 : Subsequently, uncover the pot, add the wine, cover, and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Step 5 : When serving, garnish with bell peppers, peas, and hard-boiled eggs, sprinkling with chopped parsley.
