Cheese Cream Soup
Ingredients
4 tablespoons of Butter
1 Slice of onion
4 tablespoons of Wheat flour
1 teaspoon of Salt
Ground pepper and nutmeg
3 cups of Milk
1 cup of Beef, chicken, or chicken broth
1 ½ cup of Yellow cheese grated, ground or cut into very small pieces
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the cheese cream soup, first melt the butter in a pot and then sauté the onion without burning.
Step 2 : Once the onion is ready, add the flour, salt, and pepper, and stir until a homogeneous paste is formed.
Step 3 : If desired, the onion, flour, salt, pepper, and broth can be beaten together in the blender and then added to the melted butter.
Step 4 : Continue adding the broth and milk gradually, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
Step 5 : When the cream has boiled and acquired consistency, add half of the cheese and cook over low heat or a double boiler, stirring continuously until the cheese melts completely.
