Ingredients

1 pound of Beef

8 Green plantains

1 Large onion

6 Garlic cloves

½ Green bell pepper

4 Tomatoes

1 pound of Oil

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pressure cooker, heat a tablespoon of oil.

Step 2 : Then add the beef and sauté with garlic, onion, chopped bell pepper, and tomato or tomato paste, adding salt to taste.

Step 3 : Once the sofrito is ready, add two liters of water and cook in the pressure cooker for about 45 minutes.

Step 4 : Meanwhile, peel the plantains and cut them into 2 cm slices.

Step 5 : Fry them in oil until golden, remove and crush them slightly to resemble tostones.

Step 6 : After the pressure cooker has released its pressure, remove the beef and reserve the broth.

Step 7 : Adjust the salt of the broth and, when it starts to boil, incorporate the smashed plantains, letting the broth boil for a few minutes.

Step 8 : Finally, the soup is ready to serve hot.
